The Bull-It Men's Ajax AA Rated Riding Jeans in Washed Blue are built for riders who put serious miles in and want a jean that looks like a jean, protects like a riding pant, and fits properly across a full range of sizes. Available in Slim, Straight, and Easy fits with Short, Regular, and Long leg lengths (sizes 30–44), the Ajax is one of the most comprehensively fitted riding jeans on the market – no compromises on fit, regardless of build.
The washed blue finish with subtle whiskering and white stitching gives the Ajax the look of a well-worn pair of jeans rather than a piece of protective kit. Tasteful embroidered Bull-It bull head branding and YKK zipper and fastenings are the only details that hint at the engineering underneath.
Covec® Oneskin Shell
The outer shell is constructed from Covec® Oneskin denim – Bull-It's proprietary protective fabric that integrates the abrasion-resistant layer directly into the denim rather than bonding a separate liner behind it. The result is a jean that's more comfortable, more breathable, and more consistent in its protection than a traditional denim-over-liner construction. It wears and washes like denim because, structurally, it is – just significantly tougher where it counts.
RE ZRO® Level 1 Hip & Knee Armour
Protection is provided by RE ZRO® Level 1 hip and knee armour – Bull-It's new generation of breathable, biodegradable armour inserts. CE certified to EN 17092-3:2020 AA rating, the Ajax meets the second-highest protection level in the European standard for motorcycle protective clothing – a significant step up from the A-rated jeans that make up the majority of the market.
AA rating means the Ajax has been tested and certified to withstand higher impact and abrasion forces than A-rated alternatives – relevant for any rider covering motorway miles or riding at higher speeds.
Rider-Ready Details
High-vis reflective tape adds a passive safety element for low-light riding without affecting the daytime appearance of the jean. YKK zipper and fastenings throughout ensure the hardware matches the quality of the construction.

Product Availability:
Product availability is shown on all products. Where a product states 'Coming Soon - Dispatched in X Days', this is the expected lead time before stock is delivered to our store. The delivery method you choose will not affect this lead time and only relates to the delivery service we use once the product has been delivered to us.
Custom Charges
If you are ordering goods for delivery outside the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that Maidstone Harley-Davidson has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Maidstone Harley-Davidson recommends that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer. Refunds of any returned order will be of the items only, not the services incurred.
Maidstone Harley-Davidson uses Royal Mail for smaller items and DHL for larger items (UK Shipping only)
Royal Mail deliveries are sent using the most appropriate service based on the value, size and weight of the parcel. If your item has not arrived within 5 working days on either service then please contact us by email shop@mshd.co.uk.
We also offer timed delivery services for faster delivery, which incur an additional charge over our standard delivery charges (£3.95 for orders below £60, free for orders over £60). All available delivery options are displayed during checkout.
Collect in-store:
Orders for in-store collection are FREE to collect, and are usually ready the same day, however there may occasionally be delays. A notification will be sent to you when your order is ready.
Please collect your items between 10am-5pm, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. NOTE: Our store is currently closed on Wednesdays & Sundays. Orders placed on these days will be available for collection on the following working day.
Returns & refunds:
Your right to cancel and return begins from when you place the order and ends 14 working days from when you received the goods. If you wish to cancel or return your order you must inform us by email at shop@mshd.co.uk within this time frame. The buyer is responsible for paying the return postage and ensuring the goods are received back by us in as new condition. If you receive a faulty or broken item, you will be offered either a choice of a refund or replacement. Any return postage costs if an item is faulty or broken will be paid by harleydavidsondirect.co.uk
