Disc locks have always been a convenient way to secure a motorcycle – but conventional disc locks are no match for an angle grinder. The Hiplok MD1000 changes that. Using the same innovative material technology found across Hiplok's Anti-Angle Grinder 1000 Series, the MD1000 is proven to withstand a severe and sustained angle grinder attack – in a compact, portable package you can carry anywhere.
This is the next generation in motorcycle disc lock security, and the independent ratings back it up: the MD1000 carries the Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond, ART 4 Star, and ENRA ratings – the highest tier of certification from three of the world's most respected independent security testing bodies.
Compact Size, Uncompromising Protection
At just 1.07kg and with external dimensions of 105mm x 80mm x 35mm, the MD1000 is genuinely portable without sacrificing the security credentials that matter. The 44mm x 8mm locking area fits standard motorcycle discs, and the anti-pick, anti-drill lock cylinder resists the manipulation techniques that defeat cheaper disc locks.
The Black finish gives the MD1000 a clean, understated look that suits any bike – while the lock's presence alone sends a clear message to anyone thinking twice about your motorcycle.
Everything You Need, Ready to Go
The MD1000 comes fully equipped out of the box. A durable carry case keeps the lock protected when not in use, while two magnetic Hiplok Reminder Tags with key rings attach to your handlebars or ignition to remind you the disc lock is fitted before you ride off – a simple but genuinely useful touch that could save your forks.
Three coded replaceable keys and a key code card are included, and the MD1000 is backed by a Lifetime Warranty (10 years) for complete peace of mind.

Product Availability:
Product availability is shown on all products. Where a product states 'Coming Soon - Dispatched in X Days', this is the expected lead time before stock is delivered to our store. The delivery method you choose will not affect this lead time and only relates to the delivery service we use once the product has been delivered to us.
Custom Charges
If you are ordering goods for delivery outside the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that Maidstone Harley-Davidson has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Maidstone Harley-Davidson recommends that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer. Refunds of any returned order will be of the items only, not the services incurred.
Maidstone Harley-Davidson uses Royal Mail for smaller items and DHL for larger items (UK Shipping only)
Royal Mail deliveries are sent using the most appropriate service based on the value, size and weight of the parcel. If your item has not arrived within 5 working days on either service then please contact us by email shop@mshd.co.uk.
We also offer timed delivery services for faster delivery, which incur an additional charge over our standard delivery charges (£3.95 for orders below £60, free for orders over £60). All available delivery options are displayed during checkout.
Collect in-store:
Orders for in-store collection are FREE to collect, and are usually ready the same day, however there may occasionally be delays. A notification will be sent to you when your order is ready.
Please collect your items between 10am-5pm, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. NOTE: Our store is currently closed on Wednesdays & Sundays. Orders placed on these days will be available for collection on the following working day.
Returns & refunds:
Your right to cancel and return begins from when you place the order and ends 14 working days from when you received the goods. If you wish to cancel or return your order you must inform us by email at shop@mshd.co.uk within this time frame. The buyer is responsible for paying the return postage and ensuring the goods are received back by us in as new condition. If you receive a faulty or broken item, you will be offered either a choice of a refund or replacement. Any return postage costs if an item is faulty or broken will be paid by harleydavidsondirect.co.uk
